This last summer, two married friends of mine lost a baby due to miscarriage, . That night, I sat up in bed with this image in my mind and quickly drew a thumbnail sketch. While painting it, my eyes were filled with tears and several hit the paper so I just rubbed them into the pigment with a brush (you might say that my DNA is permanently incorporated into that little watercolor painting). The large cross of Jesus is turned slightly toward the left and the little cross is turned somewhat to the right--as if there had been some communication. After the painting was complete, almost all the anguish in my heart went away. I have not shown the painting to my friends and may not since I'm afraid it would hurt them.

This picture was taken in the Fall of 2008 at the Bankhead National Forest in Alabama.

My understanding is that five indian tribes lived throughout this area; the Choctaws, Chickasaws, Cherokees, Creeks, and the Seminoles.

The Indians were a very spiritual people who adorned nature and its provisions.

Look at this picture closely on the lower left hand side.  What do you see?  (Original Photo-NO photoshop)

The reason for the inclusion of this picture in Christian Artists is that God manifests himself in many different ways in all cultures.

I took this picture in the Fall of 2008 while visiting a Church on Keel Mountain in Alabama.  I layed down in the grass after a little work and looked up.  Not a cloud in the sky except this. (Original Photo-NO photoshop)

To me it looks like an Angel and a Cross all in one.  Thank you Lord for letting me know you are there for all of us.
You just can't make this stuff up.  This was taken at the observatory at the Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge in Decatur, Alabama.

Look at the right hand side and it looks like God or Jesus hanging out in the sky sitting in a chair watching over his birds.  This was taken through a window but to have a reflection of this sort is amazing.

As a prior Navy man I know where to find the Mermaids, below.
A foggy day in Decatur, AL on St. Patrick's Day.  I love the shimmer of light at the top right corner showing me that even what we can't see in front of us that God is there guiding us even through the difficult foggy moments of our lives.
