Mission of Time With Christ

Does God Really want your money???
Time with Christ philosophy on money is unique. Even though we are a non-profit organization our goal is not to money grab out of your pockets.

If you feel it upon your heart to give Time With Christ 5, 10, 50, or even 100 dollars a month that is great. However, take half the money-yes you heard me right-take half the money you pledge or wish to donate to this organization and PERSONALLY find a family member or someone in need and use this money to serve others through acts of kindness.  Do not just give it to another organization because that would defeat the purpose of giving or helping someone by taking time out of your busy day to build a relationship or make a difference in someone else's life.

Tithing is to God not to a religion. Tithing comes in many forms and when expressed through love by sharing your time, your talents, your gifts, and yes, even money shows a commitment to serve God and others. Priorities must be set and re-evaluated on a regular basis.  To answer the question above, God wants your time, your heart, and acknowledgement.

List of Suggestions:

1. Take your spouse or girl/boy friend to a nice dinner at THEIR favorite restaurant, not yours. LOL.

2. Buy a little gift or flowers for someone that works for you or that you frequent their place of work, i.e. such as the receptionist or waiter/waitress. Let them know you appreciate them.

3. Buy someone in front of or behind you their meal and simply say Merry Christmas or Happy Birthday or Happy hanukkah or Kwanzaa or whatever (that is polite and appropriate).

4. Feed the homeless. Do not just give them money. Stop and say hello and find out who they are and let them know someone does care. Find out if they need anything such as shoes, a coat, or a blanket. Go get it for them and bring them lunch or sit down at a nearby restaurant. If you don't feel comfortable with this then maybe work at a local soup kitchen for a day a month.

5. Take your mother or father or siblings out to a movie or golfing or something THEY would like to do   in order to share time. Tell them you love them even if sometimes you don't always feel that way.  It feels good to know that you are loved unconditionally.
